You can combine different garment styles to reach a minimum, as long as the design and print colours are the same. We don’t take orders below these minimums. See clause 4.

Yes. Orders using your own garments need at least 50 garments to be decorated, and the minimum for your decoration method also applies. Where that’s higher, the higher number applies. Please also:

  • send at least 3% extra garments as spares (minimum 2), in case of production faults
  • deliver garments unpacked, folded and grouped by size, with stickers and swing tags removed
  • include a full size breakdown and packing list
  • tell us the fabric composition and any special treatments

Garments that arrive packed or unsorted incur an unpacking fee of $0.10 per garment. For a brand or style we haven’t printed before, we may ask for a sample first. See clause 5.

Vector files (AI, EPS or PDF) give the best result. We also accept high-resolution PNG or JPG files at a minimum of 300 dpi at print size. Low-resolution artwork can produce a poor print. See clause 6.1.

We don’t create original designs from scratch. We can help get your artwork ready for production, including resizing and minor adjustments. This is charged as a design service at $65 per hour, minimum 1 hour. See clause 6.5.

Two rounds of revisions to your digital proof are included. Further rounds are $65 each. Production starts once you approve the proof, so please check spelling, colours, sizes and placement carefully. See clause 6.2 and 6.3.

Our screen printing machines are purpose-built and can print up to 12 colours on one design. The number of colours may be limited by the size of the design and the quantity you need. See clause 4.3.

Yes. Supply a Pantone reference and we’ll mix your ink using the Avient IMS 3.0 ink formulation system to simulate it as closely as possible. The garment’s colour and fabric can also affect how the final colour looks. Colours on screen are indicative only, as every monitor displays colour differently. We match against Pantone Solid Coated, Uncoated and TCX (textile) references. A slight difference of up to ΔE 4.0 (CMC 2:1) is within our tolerance. Embroidery is matched to the nearest thread shade in our Madeira and King Star ranges. For digital transfers, we can also check colour against your Pantone, HEX or LAB values with a spectrophotometer. See clause 7.1.

To get a clean, clear print on dark garments, we print a base colour first, usually white, to make the other colours more vibrant. This underbase counts as a colour for pricing and minimum order purposes.

The set-up charge is to colour separate your image and then create a stencil on a screen for each colour. The physical screen remains the property of Australian Merch Co.

We keep your screen information in our digital screen library, and may hold the physical screens for up to 6 months. Because of our production volume, screens are reused after that, and a repeat order will need a new screen set-up for each colour. Please speak to our team about how this may affect your order. See clause 6.7.

Yes. The minimum order for embroidery is 30 units per design. Digitising your logo for embroidery is quoted separately, based on the design’s size and stitch count. See clause 4.

Yes. The minimum order for digital (DTF) and vinyl transfers is 15 units per design. Transfers are a good option for smaller runs and full-colour designs. See clause 4.

Sampling is possible, but it costs significantly more per unit than a production run. Please speak to our sales team to discuss.

Standard turnaround is 10 business days, or 15 business days during our peak period (1 October to 31 January). Turnaround starts once you’ve approved your proof and we’ve received your deposit. Garment availability from our suppliers can affect timing, and we’ll let you know straight away if it does.

Need it sooner? Rush orders are available, subject to capacity: a 30% surcharge for completion faster than standard turnaround, or 100% for completion in under 5 business days. We’ll confirm the rush fee in writing before we start. See clause 12.

A 50% deposit confirms your order. The balance is due before dispatch or collection. Customers with an approved credit account pay according to their account terms. Overdue amounts attract interest at 10% per annum. See clause 10.

We accept EFT and card payments. Trade and contract customers can apply for a credit account. Please contact our sales team to apply. See clause 10.

Please tell us as early as possible. Changes to garments, colours, sizes or quantities, and cancellations, after we’ve accepted your order incur a change fee to cover reordering and restocking: the greater of $100 or 20% of the invoice total. Freight, proofing and set-up costs already incurred are charged in addition.

Once production or any garment handling has started, such as tag removal or printing, the order can’t be changed or cancelled, because decorated garments can’t be returned to suppliers. See clause 9.

We don’t offer refunds or exchanges for a change of mind, for a size, style or colour you chose, or for an error in a proof you approved. This doesn’t affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. See clause 9.3.

We reproduce your approved proof as accurately as possible, within these tolerances:

  • Print colour: matched as closely as possible to your Pantone reference, within ΔE 4.0. If no Pantone codes are provided, we aim to match any HEX or other colour values supplied in your artwork as closely as possible, checked against our in-house colour calculators (ΔE reading, CMC 2:1). On-screen proof colours are indicative only
  • Print size and placement: within ±10% of the measurements on your order
  • Garment colour: small variations between manufacturer dye lots are normal

On a range of sizes, the same print can look larger on small garments and smaller on large ones. Exact print sizes and positions are recorded on your order. See clause 7.

We check every garment we order against the supplier’s delivery docket, and resolve manufacturer faults such as discolouration, damage or staining before printing.

Up to 3% of an order may be misprinted in production, and we credit the full unit price of any garment we don’t deliver. Above that, we replace and reprint the affected garments where stock is available. If stock isn’t available, larger shortfalls are reprinted once stock arrives, and smaller ones are credited at the full unit price. See clause 8.

Please check your order within 7 days of receiving it. Email sales@australianmerchco.com with your order number, a description of the issue and photos. Keep the affected items unworn and unwashed, and return all of them to us for inspection. We can only resolve claims for items that are returned. If the goods are faulty, we’ll reprint, replace or refund them. See clause 14.

We dispatch with StarTrack. Delivery to metro capital cities typically takes 1–2 business days after dispatch. Delivery times are carrier estimates, not guarantees. You can also collect your order from our Noble Park North workshop. Please collect within 14 days of our notice that it’s ready; after that, storage fees may apply.

Please give us an address where someone can receive the delivery. If delivery fails because no one is available or the address is wrong, return and redelivery costs are charged at the carrier’s rates. See clause 13.

  • Check your quote, proof and invoice carefully before approving.
  • Make sure you have the right to use the artwork and logos you send us.
  • Supply print-ready artwork in the formats we accept.
  • For your own garments, supply them prepared, with spares and fabric details.
  • Provide a delivery address where the order can be received.
  • Check your order within 7 days of receiving it.
